I had the hardest time trying to override the label color in YUI3-accordion.
It turns out that !important was used in the default style, so I had to !important again to overwrite it. (I didn't want/need black on a dark background).

Create words following a heart in Gimp

Again, I am not the one you should be reading a tutorial on Gimp from, but since you keep coming here looking for it, here's how to make that heart and words following the design.
- Make a Path using Bezier curves (B).
Look, don't make this too hard. You only need 3 points to make a heart. Sure, you can use more, but Bezier makes nice curves and frankly, don't strain yourself making this.
Start at the bottom of the heart, click-place an anchor. Above that, click-place your divot mark where you want the "V" of the top of the heart. Then, place an anchor near your beginning.
Then, starting about two-thirds up, drag out your heart bumps. It's not important how perfect you get it, this is your heart. - Write your text (T)
Whatever is suitably sappy and from your heart, that's going to be on your heart. When you're ready, click Text along Path and watch with glee. You may have to Undo, resize, retype, etc. to get the message length to match your heart size, but there you are. Don't forget the "space between letters" setting that can help as well. - Hide your text
- Select your background layer
- Select from path
- Bucket fill your color of choice
- Select none
- (Optional) Colors, Color to Alpha (OK)
Save result as a .png and you can use it on any background color you want.

Colorize your log files!
I posted my awk colorizer for tail before and the general consensus seemed to be "meh".
If you are greping through monochrome logs, you're missing out on color.
Here's my latest:
great for spam logs.

awk colorizer for tail.
One of the problems I have with
NOTE: ^[ is supposed to be Ctrl-v, Escape; NOT caret, left bracket.
ETA: If you'd like to be annoyed/beeped at for something that you're looking for, you can add ctrl-v, ctrl-g in the right hand side, eg:
tail -f maillog.txt | grep "search" is that I really did want to watch the noise and not just the signal. Except that I'd like to notice the signal. Here's my printcolor.awk Now I can use tail -f maillog.txt | awk -f printcolor.awk and see the whole tail, with keywords highlighted in *different* colors.NOTE: ^[ is supposed to be Ctrl-v, Escape; NOT caret, left bracket.
function colorize(word, color)
{
c["red"] = "^[[1;31;40m"
c["green"] = "^[[1;32;40m"
c["yellow"] = "^[[1;33;40m"
c["blue"] = "^[[1;34;40m"
c["magenta"] = "^[[1;35;40m"
if (line ~ word)
{ split (line, a, word)
line=a[1] c[color] (word) "^[[0;37;40m" a[2]
}
}
{line = $0
colorize("whitelist","green")
colorize("Bayesian Spam","red")
print line
}
ETA: If you'd like to be annoyed/beeped at for something that you're looking for, you can add ctrl-v, ctrl-g in the right hand side, eg:
"^G^[[1;32;40m" (not caret G)
